The Dubai film shoot of Jackie Chan's upcoming movie Kung Fu Yoga has wrapped up – in local fashion.
As a parting gift, Dubai Film & TV commission were given a kandura signed by Chan.
Chan had been pictured wearing a kandura during his time in Dubai.
Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, part of the film’s cast, tweeted: “N the Dubai schedule of #kungfuyoga ends. Whole unit in the final shot. Will meet every1 in Beijing. Miss u all.”
Scenes were shot last month in Dubai Marina Walk and Atlantis the Palm, and there was also a car chase in Business Bay.
Kung Fu Yoga reunites 61- year-old martial arts star Chan with director Stanley Tong, who was behind Rumble in the Bronx. Also appearing are EXO's Lay and rising Hong Kong star Li Zhiting.
The film had originally been a joint venture between two Chinese production companies, Taihe Entertainment Corp and Shinework Media, and the US-Indian studio Viacom 18. Last Sunday's Wall Street Journal reported that Viacom 18 had pulled out.
But Chan reassured the public on Thursday: “Many companies are competing to dip their toes into this movie. The filming will not stop.”

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
