SHARJAH // Afghanistan failed to repeat the heroics of their pool stage win over Australia as South Africa knocked them out of the Under 19 World Cup with an easy nine wicket win in Sharjah on Sunday.

The fact the Asian side had made it this far was a fine achievement in itself, but they struggled to assert themselves against a powerful Proteas outfit.

South Africa’s pace attack contained too much fire and nous for the Afghans, with Justin Dill claiming four wickets as they kept their unheralded opponents to 197 all out.

Aiden Markram, the South Africa captain, led the reply from the front, making an untroubled 105 not out from the top of the order as they advanced to the semi-finals with 11 overs to spare.

Labour dispute

The insured employee may still file an ILOE claim even if a labour dispute is ongoing post termination, but the insurer may suspend or reject payment, until the courts resolve the dispute, especially if the reason for termination is contested. The outcome of the labour court proceedings can directly affect eligibility.
