Police are looking into the death of a woman who fell from a residential tower in Sharjah.
Officers said the 18-year-old is thought to have jumped and died from her injuries on Tuesday.
The force did not disclose where it happened or which floor the woman fell from.
Her body was sent to forensics to confirm the cause of death.
It is the latest in a string of fatal falls from residential buildings in Sharjah and Dubai over the past few months.
Two weeks ago, a Syrian girl, 2, fell to her death from an eighth-floor flat in Al Majaz 2 area.
The toddler is believed to have climbed on to a chair near the open window of her parents' bedroom and fallen through. Her mother, 20, has since been charged with negligence.
Around the same time, a 15-year-old Indian girl fell to her death from the 10th floor of a building in Al Nabaa. Police were investigating the incident as a suspected suicide.
In November, a 16-year-old Jordanian boy was believed to have jumped to his death from the fourth floor of a building in the Qasimia area.
And in Dubai in October, a 16-year-old girl fell to her death after losing her balance while trying to take a picture of herself on the balcony of her family's 17th floor flat.
She lost her balance and fell over the barrier, plummeting to her death. The girl's sister witnessed the tragic accident.
